This years Leather Charity Auction was held to benefit the American Red Cross for military families. The grand total raised for the American Red cross was $5,956 - the highest amount raised by Jamin' Leather - Yea!!! A total of $21,186 worth of leather merchandise was auctioned off. Jamin' Leather alone donated approximately $14,666 worth of leather merchandise; the balance was donated by Jamin' Leather suppliers. The auction was a four day event and many customers received great deals on quality leather products.
Several highlights include:
- Auctioning off of a Jamin' Leather company heirloom - a 2 ft. chainsaw car biker dude - valued at over $200 - sold for $65.
- A Fox Fur Jacket (valued at over $900) was auctioned off for $80.
- A Possum Fir Lined Men's Jacket (valued over $500) was auctioned off for $50.
- A Thigh High LEFT boot was auctioned off for $2.00!
In addition to the leather auction, over 150 people got "lei'd"! Throughout the week, lovely Hawaiian dressed women offered visitors a chance to "get lei'd" (for a charity donation). Because of the generosity of our visitors, we were able to raise an additional $211 for the American Red Cross! Thanks!
We thank everyone that attended and bid on the many items, and hope you enjoy the pics as much as we did taking them. A sincere thanks from all of the staff at Jamin' Leather.
